POSITION SUMMARY:
The Community Prevention and Outreach Coordinator will represent #BeMoreLikeClaire to develop and implement initiatives that increase visibility, connection, and collaboration among the broader community.
Responsibilities include facilitating and managing education programs to prevent interpersonal violence and promote healthy relationships.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prevention Coordination
● Coordinate and present equitable, inclusive prevention education with cultural humility
● Implement the curriculum selected in collaboration with Executive Director (ED)
● Help recruit and train volunteer facilitators
● Monitor Claire’s Community budget in partnership with ED
● Help write and maintain content on Claire’s Community website
● Maintain and submit accurate, timely documentation of services
● Collaborate with ED to cultivate relationships with community partners, businesses, individuals, and other organizations
Outreach Coordination
● Plan and coordinate community workshops and events, including Candlelight Vigil
● Manage social media
● Identify and coordinate outreach opportunities
● Design and manage organizational materials and communication
● Collaborate in budget creation and follow through
● Complete relevant documentation regularly
QUALIFICATIONS:
● Bachelor’s or Associate degree preferred
● Outreach experience desirable
● Experience leading workshops or training preferred
● Written communication and social media experience preferred
● Experience in foundations, nonprofits, or the private sector desirable
● Commitment to excellence and high standards
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS:
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills
● Exceptional interpersonal, individual leadership, and collaboration skills
● Computer proficiency, including Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, and database management skills
● Strong attention to detail
● Ability to manage priorities and workflow, implement systems, and follow-up processes.
● A high degree of curiosity and initiative to find solutions
● Ability to work within tight timelines as needed
● Self-motivated, fast learner who is ready to hit the ground running
● Good listener who maintains accountability for their actions

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
● Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
● Ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously
● Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
● Must be able to lift and carry up to 15 pounds at times
